here i am sitting, 2 days after i tried to delete my account, trying to breathe new life into my journal

i am having a major epiphany now, i seriously can't fucking write, i can NEVER pen my thoughts down, most of the time they come flying out of my mouth instead. But when the fingers are on the keyboard: nothing, nada, zilch.

gawd... why do i still keep this journal, and why am i still in this job if i cant write???

i have finally succumbed to the the cult of the thick black plastic spectacle frames

was at our friendly family optician earlier, after a f-ing boring morning of cultural overload at the heritage museum, courtesy of our lovely in-house-for-the-week lecturer Susan Curtis, when mum got herself a new pair of glasses. that was when i initially laid eyes on a really cute pair of Dolces. Dolce Dolce Dolce. Only after i paid for the deposit did i see the brandless looking pair of matte black frames sitting alone in a rather god-forsaken rack at the corner of the shop.
